Upcoming Fly Fishing Workshops,Tours and Clinics for 2020

The Dry Fly Workshop is geared for the fly angler looking to increase their skill set with technical presentations and a thorough understanding of the big picture of surface feeding trout. You’ll learn about about the intricate details of hatches from the 4 main aquatic insects found on a river, plus leader formulas, successful fly patterns, rigging, equipment needs, tactics, techniques, and an informative hand out that keeps teaching well after the workshop is completed. The Lower Yuba River will be our venue which is the perfect classroom to make you a better angler, master these trout and you’ll be able to fish anywhere with confidence.

I’ve restructured my workshops to allow for more fishing and one on one guiding. Limiting the maximum amount of anglers to 4 also immensely helps students receive more in depth instruction. Cost is $150 per angler. Dry Fly Workshop dates:
2/27/20 – 2 spots open, 2 booked.

The Skwala Workshop breaks down the entire hatch of this significant winter stone fly on the Lower Yuba River. From nymphing to dry fly presentations, we’ll cover leader formulas, rigging, flies, presentations, and tactics to be more successful while having fun stalking trout looking for the Winter Stone in skinny water next to the bank, plus you’ll receive an enlightening and instructive handout you can refer to time and time again.
